Situated in the most lovely part of Agia Pelagia, the Scala Palace Hotel is a landmark in Greek hospitality. Visitors have experienced the winning combination of quality and individual attention for over five years. The Hotel has been owned by the same family since its opening.

The hotel is situated at a distance of 20 km from Heraklion city center and the international airport (an approximate time by taxi 20-35 mins). The nearby tourist resort of Agia Pelagia is only 200 m away and the sandy beach only 70 m away!... A lot of places with special interest, like Knossos, are at a short distance away (Knossos 20 kms away) while the car parking of our hotel can host about 10 cars in total.
 
The Scala Palace Hotel boasts 18 apartments and 12 studios, all well equipped for today's discerning guest. The balconies of the north facing rooms allow breathtaking views of the sea bay area, while those on the south look onto the tree-covered mountains of the surrounding area.

The Complex comprises of several 2 / 3 storey Main Buildings and Bungalows formed into Terraces.
In the Main, Central Building is the large Reception Hall, the Bar with Panoramic View, the TV Room (with Satellite), the Cafeteria with a large Terrace, the A La Carte Taverna, the Main Restaurant and the Self Service Restaurant (also with Terrace).
Furthermore there is a Shopping Arcade with it's Kiosk, Boutique, Jewelers, Bazaar and Drinks Shop. The Hotel also has Conference Facilities.
By the Sun Terrace is the large Salt Water Swimming Pool where there are Sun-beds and Sun-shades available at no additional cost (as on the Beach). Towels are available for a deposit. 
There is a Diving Board and a Children's Pool, a Children's Play Area and a Beach Bar.
